#imbringingbirthdaysback

Hello again!

Have you heard about the #imbringingbirthdaysback movement started by Stampin' Up!'s Demonstrator Training Manager, Shannon West? If not, you can read all about it here

The basic summary is this: over the years Shannon has noticed the decline of sending handmade and handwritten birthday cards, and she's determined to bring birthday cards back! Her movement attracted notice from other demonstrators and crafting friends so quickly that she picked a hashtag so they could easily share their card designs for CASE-ing (Copy And Share Everything) on social media. That hashtag? #imbringingbirthdaysback. Shannon hand carved a stamp so she could stamp the backs of her cards and envelopes with the hashtag so those receiving them would know how to share them with the rest of the movement. Cue the offer of support from Sara Douglas, CEO of Stampin' Up!, and now we have a...#imbringingbirthdaysback Single Stamp

If you would like to join this great movement, you too can have a stamp just like Shannon's! Simply pop over to my store and you can find it by browsing the Wood Mount stamp section, or searching the store for item number 143573, or (most easily!) by clicking here. As it is a single stamp, it is only available in Wood Mount. Originally it was going to be a limited run, "while stocks last only," stamp. BUT because it sold out so quickly in the US for it's first run and the second run was selling strong, the Stampin' Up! announced that the stamp will be available as part of their current offering for the foreseeable future! How cool!

I'm working on a little something for the movement which I'll be sharing later this week. Will you be joining the movement to make and send birthday cards this year? Comment below with what you like to do to bring birthdays back from Facebook and into "real life". Make a card and give it away? Buy a card and give it away? Or do you like to do something completely different?
