Sale-a-bration Details!

Here is the post I know you've all been waiting for: all the details on Sale-a-bration! (Which I'm going to shorten to SAB from now on, it's just so much easier to type.)

So, what is SAB all about? It's about YOU earning exclusive FREE Stampin' Up! products. SAB is an annual Stampin' Up! event that demonstrators and customers alike look forward to. It happens at the beginning of every calendar year. This year it is running from January 5 through till March 31.

Now, on to what you really, really want to know...what are these exclusive freebies, where can you see them, how can you earn them, and what other great specials are available during SAB?

These freebies are a range of products - Designer Series papers, Project Life by Stampin' Up! speciality card collection, and of course there are stamp sets too. You can see them in the SAB brochure by clicking here.  

How do you earn the exclusive freebies? All the details are laid out on pages 2 and 3 of the brochure, but I'll also share them here.



SHOP
The first way to earn free product is by shopping. Spend $90 on Stampin' Up! products (before shipping and handling) and you can have your pick of any of the SAB freebies. This earning potential is incremental too! Spend $180 and pick two freebies, spend $270 and pick three freebies, and so on.

PLUS, once your order reaches $250 (before shipping and handling) you'll also be eligible for Stampin' Rewards! (Stampin' Rewards is Stampin' Up!'s hostess benefit program. You can find all the full details on it here. You can use Stampin' Rewards to earn free regular products or exclusive hostess stamp sets.) How many FREE products will YOU be earning?

If shopping online during January, please use the Hostess Code 96G3GCAQ. If you're doing a large order for yourself which reaches $250 (before shipping and handling), please don't put the Hostess Code in - this way YOU can earn extra Stampin' Rewards and product freebies!

HOST
The second way you can earn free products is by hosting a party. When your party sales reach $250 (before shipping and handling) you begin to earn Stampin' Rewards. The graphic below details the normal Stampin' Rewards benefits. During SAB you can earn an extra $40 of free products with a qualifying party ($400 in sales).

Please note that I won't be taking party bookings during January, as I will be having a holiday in the second half of the month. I can set up a virtual party for you, or book a party for later in SAB during February or March. 




JOIN
The third way you can earn a stack of free products is by joining Stampin' Up! as a demonstrator. 

If you have ever even briefly considered joining Stampin' Up!, then I encourage you to sign up during SAB! There's a FANTASTIC special for new demonstrators this year. Read on to find out more...

To join as a demonstrator the sign-up fee is $169. For this you get to pick a custom starter kit containing $235 of products of your choice, plus the kit includes $80 of business supplies to help you get started (catalogues, order forms, party invitations, etc). During SAB you get to choose an EXTRA $60 of products for your starter kit! This means if you choose to join Stampin' Up! anytime during SAB you can pick a total of $295 worth of products for just $169! And the cherry on top of all that? Your starter kit ships free! You won't have to pay any shipping and handling fees. And there you have it, folks! All the main details of Sale-a-bration! There are just two more final notes I want to share with you before leaving you to shop to your heart's content to earn those exclusive freebies. 

The first note is to please take a look at the graphic below. It is taken from page 2 of the SAB Brochure and gives you some very important information. The exclusive freebie products shown on pages 4-15 will be available throughout the entire SAB promotion, that is, January 5 till March 31. The exclusive freebies shown on pages 16-19 are only available until February 15. (For your own quick reference these products are: Sky is the Limit stamp set, Perfectly Artistic Designer Series Paper, and Hello stamp set.) There is a chance that these products may be available for a little longer than the limited-time period, but that will depend entirely on whether or not there is leftover inventory. If you like any of the three limited-time products, I strongly suggest claiming those freebies before others. 

Another round of limited-time SAB exclusives will be released on February 16. I will share more information on this as it becomes available to me as a demonstrator. 



The second final note is a cool little feature in this year's SAB Brochure. Did you spot the "You can make it" projects? If you're not sure what I mean, see the pic below for an example. There's a number of project samples scattered throughout the SAB Brochure that make use of the exclusive freebies, plus regular catalogue products. The "You can make it" project lists are also shopping lists! If you were to purchase each of the items needed to complete those cute little project samples, you'll hit the $90 minimum threshold to earn a freebie!
