Festival of Trees Christmas Card

The Festival of Trees photopolymer stamp set and Tree Punch were first available in the 2014-2015 Holiday Catalogue. They were popular items that were carried over to the 2015-2016 Annual Catalogue. The Christmas trees with their cute, easy to two-step stamp decorations made it so simple to make a quick Christmas card that looks more complex than it actually is.

Here's a card I made (last year!!!) with this bundle:

I love making "same, same, but different" cards.

A little tip if you want to re-create the die cut windows in the embossed card layer look:
Do your die cutting first, and your embossing second. If you emboss first and cut second, the already embossed card will get a bit squashed and lose some of it's depth and texture when it gets rolled through the Big Shot the second time.

All the products I used to create this card are shown below. If you would like any more info on one of them, simply click the picture to be taken to my online store to find out all about it. I think the card stock I used is a retired colour (possibly Riding Hood Red...), but of course you could use any red shade to get a similar look, e.g. Real Red. The Designer Series Paper cut-out in the window is also a retired product, from the 2013 Holiday Catalogue. But again - this is an easily replaced element.

P.s. Like both the Festival of Trees stamp set AND the Tree Punch? You can save 15% when you purchase them in a bundle! =D
