My First Card Class!

For the past couple of weeks I have been preparing for my first card class. I am really excited to start sharing my card designs and ideas with others!

So, on to the necessary details. I will be hosting classes in my own home, and will also send out take home kits to those who can't make it on the class night. I am happy to post the kit anywhere in Australia, so if you like it drop me an email and we can organise to get the kit to you for the cost of the kit plus postage. While I have study commitments I will only be running classes once a month.

Now, for the more interesting stuff! January's class is a Stamp-a-Stack, a class where you make multiples of a design, and will be available for booking a place / ordering a take home kit from January 14 (today). Stamp-a-Stack is a great method for building up your supply of handmade cards, ensuring you are ready for any event or occasion. For this class we will be making three copies of two different designs (a total of six cards). The kit will be $20. And here are the cards...

Starting on the left, isn't the Flowerfull Heart stamp gorgeous? It's definitely one of my new favourites! I think it looks really nice embossed in gold. This card is easily variable so it can be used for a variety of events or occasions. The greeting used here is the congratulations stamp from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set. The 'congratulations' can easily be swapped out for any sentiment that you require. For example: happy anniversary, love you, celebrate, or even best wishes or always thinking of you (all these examples are available in the exclusive hostess Express Yourself stamp set). See below for a full list of supplies used to create this card.

The card on the right is a great masculine birthday card. A quick, simple, easy to stamp card using another of my favourite stamp sets: Gorgeous Grunge. The twine used is NEW Gold Baker's Twine, available from the Occasions Catalog from January 28. This card is also really versatile by swapping the ink colours to personalise it into a friend's favourite set of colours, make it more feminine, or choose lighter and brighter colours for a young child's birthday card. See below for a full list of supplies used to create this card.

IMPORTANT NOTE: the Flowerfull Heart stamp (item code 134617) is only available for a limited time only, until January 27 or while stocks last. If you like it and want it, I advise heading to my online shop to buy it now!
